Additionally, keep in mind these two rules:
- To speed up play, the following newly introduced stroke and distance rule will be in effect for all tournament play:https://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/rules-hub/rules-modernization/major-changes/golfs-new-rules-stroke-and-distance.html
- We are also adopting the new maximum strokes per hole for all tournaments as “Double Par plus 1”. Therefore maximum strokes taken on a par 3 is 7, par 4 is 9 and par 5 is 11.
