Welcome to April and some warmer weather and sunnier days ahead! Along with this is the prospect of another great golfing season with the Vancouver Chinese Golf Club. Your Executive Committee has worked hard to book the events for this season and has put together fun events while still maintaining the competitions throughout the year, including the popular ‘Calcutta’ event which is back again this year.
Please see the attached document for the schedule of events for the season along with your 2025 Executive Committee. We’re pleased that Gene Wong continues to lead our group, and we’d like to recognize the additions of Carol Chao as Secretary and Wilson Sit and David Chao on Tournaments, helping out with scoring.
To kickoff the season, we would like to invite you to attend our Smoker Registration Night – details are as follows:

PLACE: EMPIRE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, 5951 Number 3 Rd Unit 200, Richmond, BC
Membership dues for this year remain the same as last year – $150 / member. Note that your membership dues for the 2025 season includes the cost for this dinner! If you would like to bring a guest for dinner on this night, the cost for guests is $70.00. Please remember to bring cash or a cheque to pay at the Smoker.
If you have a friend or family member interested in joining, feel free to forward this message and/or bring them out! We are looking for RSVP’s so that we can confirm numbers with the restaurant, so please respond to this email with a YES or NO, and if you are coming, the number in your party.
